The differences between the two are amazing. First, the 50mm lens on the Nikon is actually smaller than the 50mm lens on this Pentax. Perhaps because of this, the view through the Pentax is considerably brighter. It is much brighter than I would expect simply because of the slight size difference, however. I bought this wireless G card because my Gateway lap-top has a lousy internal antennae and cannot hold a faint wireless signal. I literally installed the driver in 5 minutes or less and had the wirelss G card in the slot detecting available wireless networks. It converted the faint signal that my laptop's antennae would not & could not hold into an 89% signal. THIS particluar card is way, way better that the regular linksys card.
